Clipless Body Mounting
Raptor’s innovative clipless body features secure mounting with quick and easy removal. No posts, no clips—just drop the body onto the chassis and snap it into place for a secure hold. When it’s time to change the battery, depress the tabs under the wheel wells and lift to access the chassis in just seconds.

Molded Body Reinforcements
Raptor’s clipless body latches are neatly integrated into molded body reinforcements that look great and protect the body. Unlike traditional posts and clips, Raptor’s body reinforcements spread impact forces over a wide area to minimize the risk of pull-through damage.

Detailed Raptor Body
The Traxxas Ford Raptor takes you off-road with a whole new level of scale realism. The highly detailed Raptor body features an injection molded grille, front bumper, hood vents, and side mirrors to complete the look. The heavy duty body is built extra tough for all your off-road adventures.

Integrated Chassis Nerf Bars
Tough integrated chassis nerf bars offer side body support and help absorb the shocks that occur during door-to-door racing action.

Extreme Heavy-Duty Driveshafts
Raptor’s extreme heavy-duty driveshafts are beefed up in critical areas for outrageous power handling. The large- diameter half shafts offer excellent articulation and suspension travel and hold up to the BL-2's brushless system's tire-shredding torque with ease.

Oil-Filled Ultra Shocks
Raptor’s oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilize X-rings for a perfect seal and super-smooth performance. Adjust the ride height and pre-load on the white powder-coated progressive springs with the included spacer clips. Ultra Shocks are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons available.

BL-2s Brushless Power System
The waterproof BL-2s electronic speed control packs powerful features like three separate drive profiles, low-voltage detection for LiPo batteries, patented Training Mode", and Thermal-Shutdown Protection to prevent overheating. The sensorless BL-2s 3300 kV motor with integrated cooling fan delivers strong brushless performance with nearly zero maintenance.

Long Wheelbase Chassis
Raptor’s long 13.2" wheelbase chassis increases high-speed stability with 3.5" of center ground clearance to avoid high centering. The chassis includes drain holes, a channel for servo wires, and bosses for mounting the optional Velineon 3s Brushless Power System.

Digital Steering Servo
A high-performance truck needs a powerful steering servo for responsive performance. The 2075 waterproof steering servo uses O-ring seals to keep the fun going when things get wet. The Traxxas digital high-torque servo provides precise steering authority and speed for wheel-to-wheel racing in the back yard or on the track.

Replica All-Terrain Tires
Realistic looks, realistic performance. Raptor’s replica BFGoodrich® Mud Terrain T/A® tires have excellent grip in the dirt, just the right amount of slide on pavement. The tires come mounted and glued to black dual-diameter SCT wheels with distinctive satin chrome "beadlock" rings.

Adjustable Battery Hold-Down
Raptor’s battery hold-down accommodates either 6 or 7-cell flat battery packs or 7-cell hump packs for maximum versatility. An optional tall battery hold-down kit part 5827X (sold separately) accommodates oversized batteries.

3-Channel Receiver with Fail-Safe Security
In the event of signal loss due to an accidental transmitter switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver automatically returns the throttle to neutral and holds the last commanded steering position. The fail-safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be activated.

TQ 2.4GHz Transmitter
The TQ 2.4 GHz radio system keeps the focus on having fun, not worrying about interference from other vehicles. The TQ radio’s advanced programming provides long-range control with smooth, glitch-free performance and its ergonomic design is comfortable for all-day driving.

Dual Bellcrank Steering with Servo Saver
Raptor’s dual bellcrank design pivots smoothly, even in the harshest conditions. An integrated cam-type servo saver protects the steering servo from crash impacts without sacrificing steering precision.

Adjustable Steel Turnbuckles
Factory fitted, heavy-duty steel turnbuckles allow camber and toe tuning. The suspension is completely adjustable right out of the box to fine tune handling agility and high-speed performance. Captured rod ends provide unmatched durability and they won’t pop off.

Extreme Heavy Duty Suspension Components
Raptor comes outfitted with factory-installed Extreme Heavy Duty suspension components for ultimate strength and durability. The rear axle carriers, C-hubs, and steering blocks are beefed up with more material and stronger construction.

Scale Front Bumper
Engineered to handle the abuse of bumper-to-bumper bashing, the integrated front bumper is designed to absorb brutal impacts while looking the part of an aggressive off-road-ready truck.

Heavy Duty Suspension Arms
Molded from our toughest composite material, Raptor’s heavy duty suspension arms provide just the right amount of flex to resist breaking. These suspension arms stand up to even the most punishing drivers for non-stop wheel-to-wheel racing.

Metal Gear Magnum 272 Transmission
The Magnum 272 transmission features all metal gear internals riding on ultra-smooth sealed ball bearings. The sealed gearbox protects the transmission components from dirt and rocks. The fortified Magnum 272 is built to handle even extreme Velineon® VXL brushless power without costly upgrades.

Torque-Control Slipper Clutch
The Torque-Control slipper clutch uses special semi-metallic friction material and finned aluminum alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent traction control. Spur gears can be removed and replaced without altering the slipper adjustment.

Steel-Composite Planetary Gear Differential
The composite planetary gear differential features a steel ring gear for long life. It uses hardened steel internal gears for maximum strength during rigorous off-road bashing. This type of differential requires virtually no maintenance, and its efficient design puts maximum tire-shredding torque to the wheels.
