This is a unique effort by Dumas, a long time maker of flying models. The Waco CG-4A was critical to the success of the Normandy landings and yet it remains almost unknown to all but a few Americans.

The fuselage is of traditional stick and tissue construction with the curved cockpit parts being die-cut. The wing ribs, rudder and stabilizer tips are also cut as well. This is a good model to learn the basics of model airplane construction, since there are very few curves and the fuselage has a square cross section. It is pretty close to scale but the tail surfaces are slightly enlarged for better flying characteristics.
