The Maxx wheels were designed to be light but big to allow your park flyer to take off and land on a grass field without having the wheel get caught in the grass and causing the plane to flip.
Too many great looking aerobatic models come with small wheels and wheel pants that get caught in even closely-cut grass. If your plane is always flipping over during the takeoff or landing run, replace the small wheels and pants with a pair of these great Maxx wheels to increase the diameter of the wheel without increasing the weight.
These Maxx wheels with their narrow profile and larger diameter don't get hung-up in grass like the little wheels do. The plastic wheel is light and strong, and can easily be drilled to accommodate a larger axle diameter. The black foam tire is quite durable despite its light weight which makes these wheels at home on paved surfaces, as well as on grass.
